Production & turnaround.

Production time and shipping time are two different things. This page explains how we measure both so you know what to expect.

Production time is not shipping time

Production time is how long it takes us to manufacture your order. Shipping / transit time is how long the carrier takes to move the package to your address after we hand it off. Your total time to receive an order is production time plus transit time.

When does production start?

Estimated production time generally begins once all required conditions are satisfied:

  • Payment received
  • Usable artwork received
  • Required order information received
  • Proof approved, when a proof is required

If any of those are outstanding, the order sits in a waiting state and the production clock has not started yet.

Business days

Production is measured in business days. Weekends and holidays are not counted unless we specifically offer production on those days.

Estimates, not guarantees

Production times are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates, unless we state otherwise in writing. Production can be affected by:

  • Artwork problems
  • Customer revisions
  • Proof approval delays
  • Material availability
  • Equipment issues
  • High order volume
  • Weather
  • Carrier disruptions
  • Other events outside our reasonable control

Turnaround by product

Turnaround ranges differ by product and are shown on each product page and in the configurator. Decals, holographic decals, labels, banners, wall graphics, tents, serialized decals and display products each carry their own estimate, and larger or more complex orders can take longer.
