Proof approval policy.

A digital proof is your opportunity to review the final production layout before anything is printed. Nothing goes on a press until you approve it.

What should I check before approving?

Take a minute and review every visible detail:

Spelling
Names
Phone numbers
Addresses
Website URLs and social handles
QR codes and barcodes
Dates and prices
Dimensions
Logo placement and artwork orientation
Colors
Quantity
Number sequences on serialized work
Any other visible information

Tip

Read text backwards, word by word. It is the fastest way to catch a typo your eye keeps auto-correcting.

What happens when I click Approve for Production

Approval authorizes us to manufacture the product based on that specific proof. For your records and ours, we log:

Date of approval
Time of approval
The user or customer who approved
The proof version approved
The order number

What if I approve an error?

If an error was visible on the proof before approval and the proof was approved, that error generally does not qualify as an Infinite Print production defect. This is subject to applicable law.

What if you print something different from my proof?

If we manufacture something materially different from the approved proof, contact support with your order number and photos and we will review it under our refund and reprint policy.

Proof colors versus printed colors

A proof is viewed on a screen, and screens emit light while printing uses ink on a physical material. A proof confirms layout, content, sizing and general color intent — it is not an exact color match.

Changes after approval

Once production begins, changes may not be possible. Where a change can still be made, it may require:

New production charges
Additional materials
A new turnaround estimate
